Italian Pasta Plant

What Is an Italian Pasta Plant?

An Italian pasta plant is a complete production line that takes raw semolina or wheat dough through mixing, extrusion, cutting and drying in one continuous process. Interchangeable dies let the same line produce macaroni, penne, fusilli, and other short-cut shapes without retooling the whole plant.

Our plants are built around a twin-screw or single-screw extruder with a vacuum chamber for a denser, better-textured dough, feeding directly into a cutting unit and multi-layer conveyor dryer for consistent moisture reduction batch after batch.

Built for Continuous Industrial Runs

Every plant uses SS 304 food-contact parts, PLC-controlled temperature and speed settings, and a modular layout so you can scale capacity by adding drying or packing stations later without replacing the core extruder.

We handle installation, commissioning and operator training on-site, and our engineering team can size a plant to your target output — from a few hundred kilograms per shift up to multi-tonne daily production.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can one plant produce more than one pasta shape?

Yes. Changing the extrusion die and cutter head lets the same plant switch between macaroni, penne, fusilli and other short-cut shapes without replacing the core machine.

What capacity range do your Italian pasta plants cover?

We size plants from small production runs up to multi-tonne daily output, built around automatic (up to 200 kg/h) or semi-automatic extruder cores depending on your target volume.

Do you provide installation and training?

Yes. Our team handles on-site installation, commissioning and operator training as part of every plant order, along with ongoing after-sales support.
