Sieving & Grading Equipment

Vibro
Shifter

Vibrating sieve equipment for grading, sizing and separating food powders and granules by particle size.

Vibro Shifter

What a Vibro Shifter Does

A vibro shifter uses a motor-driven vibrating motion to pass material across a stack of mesh screens, separating it into different particle-size fractions — removing oversized lumps or foreign matter, and grading product into consistent size ranges.

In a food processing line, this is typically used to clean raw flour before it reaches the extruder, or to grade finished granular products such as soya nuggets or snack pellets before packing.

Hygienic, Low-Maintenance Design

Our vibro shifters use food-grade SS 304 construction with easily removable screens for fast cleaning and mesh changes between products. The enclosed design minimises dust and contamination in the work area.

Available in single or multi-deck configurations depending on how many size fractions you need to separate in one pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does a vibro shifter fit in a food processing line?

Typically used to clean raw flour before it reaches the extruder, or to grade finished granular products such as soya nuggets or snack pellets before packing.

How many size fractions can one machine separate?

That depends on configuration — single-deck units separate material into two fractions, while multi-deck units can separate into three or more in a single pass.

How easy is it to clean between different products?

Screens are designed to be easily removable for fast cleaning and mesh changes, and the enclosed design minimises dust and contamination in the work area.
